Our twins grandnephew and niece celebrate their first birthday this week. Here is the song that I wrote for Birthdays! Listen to THE BIRTHDAY SONG! First birthdays are so important – for the parents and siblings but not the little ones. One of the proudest moments we celebrated was when one of my son’s best friends who had children before he did, asked us if we would host their first child’s first birthday at our little farm on the west coast since their families lived there while they lived on the east coast. Of course we were so honored and delighted. And there were 100 people there including children! What fun – but makes my point that the party was for the parents and friends and grandparents – and what a celebration it was. And the pictures – oh my – we have to remember the second, third, fourth and following children and take lots of pictures of them too- the numbers of photos tend to reduce depending on the order of the arrival of children so taking enough of each is important to remember! Of course every birthday has music and dancing – especially for little kids!
